We cater for the experienced bike traveler and the first timer, all welcome. We are NOT, however offering trips that endanger your license - this means that speed limits will be observed - I enjoy riding too much to lose my own. Full route details will be provided so if you find my riding too slow you can go ahead and meet at scheduled stops.

We offer day trips and short breaks in the UK and our adventure trip to Romania. On all our trips you will be accompanied by an experienced geographer and tourism expert who can give full information on the areas we pass through.

This trip will give you the chance to experience the delights of this largely unspoiled former communist country. The idea is to explore Romania so the journey there is largely motorway (autobahn) work - and if you haven't yet experienced the motorways of Europe then this is a riding experience not to be missed. Once in Romania the scenery is simply outstanding, the people are almost unbelievably friendly and go out of their way to be as helpful as possible - they are delighted that people from western Europe want to visit their country although slightly bewildered that you are on a motorbike.

The trip can be tailored to suit your requirements. I have been to Romania several times myself and am currently learning the language. I have made the round trip to the capital, Bucharest, in 7 days. This included 3 days in Bucharest but I would strongly advise that at least two weeks and preferably three is set aside for this tour to get the full benefits.

So come with me and visit the Carpathian Mountains, the resorts on the Black Sea, the castles that inspired the Dracula stories and the castles used by Vlad Tepes (Vlad the Impaler) said to be the original Dracula. Visit the amazing city of Bucharest with its many contrasts from old Romanian through communist architecture to westernization following the demise of the communist regime.

A note of warning - Romanian roads and Romanian driving standards fall a long way short of what you will be used to. Extra care must be taken when riding -you haven't seen potholes until you have been to Romania. Don't let this put you off, just take note and be prepared. Also many insurance policies do not cover Romania, you may have to take out special cover for the duration of the tour. Rest assured you will think it is worth it!! One of the greatest pleasures is to see young children in villages, friendly smiles on their faces, waving at you as you ride past. When stopping for a break, the genuine concern for your safety and the safety of your bike from cafe owners and locals - all a refreshing change compared to some plces I have been!

This is a bike tour with an expert guide, with knowledge of the country and the language. Tours are tailored to suit the needs and wishes of each group, they are bespoke tours with no two trips being exactly the same. We are sure that you will appreciate the difference between this type of tour and the 'off the peg' type of tour offered by most companies. Depending on group size costs start from £150 per week for the guide. All accommodation, fuel etc is additional.

NORTH YORKSHIRE MOORS AND THE LAKE DISTRICT

This is a day trip in the north of England where we cover some excellent roads and enjoy some breathtaking scenery. Starting on the famous A65 just south of Ingleton we visit White Scar caves before crossing the Moors and heading for the Lake District where we spend time at Pooley Bridge, from here we head to Coniston and Windermere before finishing the day in Morecambe and witnessing one of the most beautiful bay views in the country.

ANCIENT SITES OF THE WEST COUNTRY

This is a two day tour where we take you to some of the world famous ancient sites of the west country. The tour will include stops at Stonehenge, Avebury, Silbury Hill and Maiden Castle. The riding will take us through Wiltshire and Dorset.
